Conrad is an Investment Adviser Representative and Senior Portfolio Manager at Pacific Global Investment Management Company, a wealth management firm providing investment, financial, and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations, and family offices. Mr. Lyon has been with Pacific Global for five years focusing on the equity management of client portfolios. He brings over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry, including nearly 10 years as an institutional Senior Equity Analyst, most recently at B. Riley Financial. Prior to performing equity research, Mr. Lyon managed repurchase agreements and fixed-income trading for Seagate Global Advisors, a global macro fixed-income fund overseeing nearly $2 billion in mortgage-backed securities, U.S. Treasuries, various foreign government bonds, and currency swap contracts.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Lyon joined Deloitte’s Western Region Hospitality, Sports & Leisure Consulting Practice in 1997, where he conducted market and financial feasibility studies for stadiums, arenas, and convention centers. Notably, he forecasted $13.2 million in initial car rental tax revenues to support a bond issuance for Houston’s Enron Field, with actual revenues reaching $13.5 million. During his time at Deloitte, Mr. Lyon earned both the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designations. Of particular note, he passed all four parts of the CPA exam on his first attempt—a feat accomplished by a small percentage of candidates. Although he no longer practices accounting, he maintains his CPA license as “inactive” with the state of California. He received B.S. degrees in Finance and Accounting from Cal State University Northridge.
